@ARCHIVE ok great info thanks ks for the reply I really appreciate it. With that info Looks like the pn 117 would be better option then with a collapsed length 14.7, extended 23.8, for 9.1 stroke.

Only a losing a 1/2" droop , gain 1/2 up travel to play it safe sound like the right option.

If you have a decked system, I HIGHLY recommend using option 2.

    I went 3 and it's too much.

Now I think I need to take everything off and move to option 2. Lift is too much and odd looking compared to the front, and I don't really want, at this time, redue the front

Good advice. I went with 2 and rides great and will prob settle some more. Still has some rake. 3 would have been too much for me too even with a topper. This only pic I have.

I think with a topper, I would go 3 no? Do you have any rake, or is it pretty level front and back?

It hasn’t settled I don’t think. Most people say it takes awhile. Only ref I can give you (at the moment - not home atm) is ground to bottom of fender well. Front is 37.25” and Rear is 39”

and I have a little bit of gear in the back.

I have a wedge camper on the back which is just shy of 400lbs with maybe another 100 in gear and went with option 3. It does sit a bit higher than the front which has 6112s on 6/5 with a winch, but I like a bit of rake. The rear has 5160s

It did take some time to settle. I find a good run on a bumpy road helps speed things up, plus it just fun

do either of you two have both a fiberglass bed topper and a DECKED system?
I just got the RTX springs, and have yet to install. I keep going back n forth on option 2 or 3. I have both and can't find anyone who does,, seems they have one or the other and are suggesting option 2. I am leaning towards option 3, as I have a 1" block I will be removing, and wanted a slight lift, with some rack back in it.

Along with both mentioned, I am an avid competition shooter and hunter, and haul lots of gear. Especially went hunting, I will have gear plus 1-2 heavy ass coolers weighing 100-300 lbs total.

thanks for any insight you may have!

I just have a topper…. This guy has both. Maybe one of his videos will elaborate on his set up. I’m not sure.

decked alone is 200# right? plus the shell & gear...
    that's a lot of weight i'd go option 3
4 years running option 2 & just upgraded to 3 as the new wedge tent setup is 60# heavier

I’m getting ready to install fox elite 2.5/3 in shocks , hammer hangers , locked hydro bump stops and a rxt pack . I have a camper shell that’s just under 200 . With the hammer hangers I’m not sure if I should go with stage 2 or 3 . Anyone have a similar setup with photos and what stage you went with . Thanks

Yeah, I’m figuring the topper is 200+ and I think the Decked is 200, so I’m rounding up to 450# and that’s empty. i think you’re right, I’ll probably start at stage 3 in hopes of not having to adjust. I’ll have to remember to follow up later, so others have some firsthand info. I’m not installing for another week or two.

    EDIT:
you are correct sir! I went to the DECKED page and it is 205#.. Just that much more likely to go stage 3 :D
I can't find an exact weight on Ranch website, but this site list small trucks with short beds as 130# for the ARE brand, which for this exercise is close enough. https://www.actiontrucks.com/blog/post/guide-to-are-truck-caps
So more research total has me at 130# for the topper +205# for the Decked = 335# total. The Icon stage example sheet has Stage 2 lift at 1.75" with a 200# load, so given I will be well above that "unloaded" I am pretty sure stage 3 is still for me, I am just hoping it doesn't lift the rear truck to the moon. I would like rake still, as I don't want to be carolina sqautin' with gear in the back.

sorry for all the edits/updates, but I am keeping my numbers here, and do not want to confuse someone down the road, that might be looking for the same info.

My Icons have been on a year, 10k miles, and sound absolutely horrible. Like absolutely atrocious squeaking.

The squeaking seems to be coming from the bushings. I can spray the rear shackles down, give it a day to soak in, and it's good for a week. But makes my 25k mile truck sound like a POS.

I have Hammer Hangers and Fabbed shackles, both from Archive. Running the leafs via Option 2 with an Alu Cab shell, and some other weight over stock. Rides great so I don't want to change anything.

Anyone change out the bushings? Anyone have any other solutions?
