Hmm... Do you notice the "clunk" during off-camber or turning scenarios, or is it just whenever? Are your clamps that sit part-way up the leaf packs nice and tight? You have my permission to hit it with a hammer to square your leafs up, and you should not be getting travelling in that leaf.
I appreciate the support for sure! We do our best to stay in here to provide the up-front as well as ongoing support for everything we sell. We also keep an eye on grumblings in case there's changes we need to make on our end as well. We're here to help folks as best we can.

Yup, everything is tight. Just put a wrench on everything last night once I saw it. Nothing was loose. Ubolts tight. Leaf pack clamps tight. Nothing moved.

The clunk is minor, it's mainly just pulling into my driveway, or at low speeds such as driving around the parking lot at low speeds (changing direction will induce the clunk).

I'm hoping at this point Icon will just warranty the pack. I know a lot of people like these leafs, but between the noises and now seeing the leafs shifting this far around, I'm kind of over them.

I wonder... Just one other place to check. Make sure you're not getting any slop at the lower shock bushings out back. I've found noises from there before too. I'm over here grasping at straws! I guess if you have Alcans coming though it'll kind of clear that question up.

Ya I've added more weight out back so I'm at the limits of option 2 anyways, I'd need to pull the pack again and put them to option 3.

The noise kind of comes and goes depending on the day, I almost believe it's exactly that leaf shifting around in the pack and getting "stuck". Once it's stuck it doesn't move and doesn't make the noise. Once I hit a weird bump and dislodge it the noise comes back.

Could be 10 other things too, I'm doing a refresh on a few parts coming up (whiteline bushings in my LCA's, adding grease zerks to them as well), new leaf pack, etc. I'll check the shock bushings as well, I know my front ones failed quick (10k miles - thanks Fox! LOL). Kind of hard to diagnose anything with how much noise the bad/faulty bushings in the leaf pack make.

Keep in mind this is going slow to try to isolate just the bushing noise. Driving around faster the noise is 10x as loud, but you also have the noise from the engine, tire noise, etc. Spraying the front and rear bushings with silicone will calm the noise right down for a few days.

Interesting. Your noise does seem to be bushings, but in my experience as I have alluded to the bushings "usually" aren't the source of the noise. We also grease the exterior faces of ones we install too, and Icon makes no allusion to needing to grease these. I'm beginning to think that I just need to start putting together my own install guides... With all of the spare time that I have

Yup, they were completely quiet for a year, and then all hell broke loose. Even pulling them once and greasing them did not solve it for more than 3-4 weeks. I'm also plagued with the worst luck on the planet when it comes to parts and cars/trucks.

Carli suspension has a great guide to greasing leaf spring bushings.

This will sound dumb but the stuff worked on what I used it for. It may help maybe not. I used it on LCA bushing on my Lexus IS commuter and made a big diff.
I dumped some of this in a small
Spray bottle and it swelled and softened up the bushings. I was surprised. It supposedly can be used in a bunch of other things like internal engine stuff but I’d never do that. Bushings is another story. It may help swell/soften bushing and hold your spring in place better.

As an update to this, Icon replied this time in a day and has agree'd to replace my leaf pack (both sides).

I installed stage 3 yesterday from stage 1. Finally I’m not dragging my rear end around. With (3/4 a tank of gas on drivers side) (yeti 45 with beer and ice, and 50# of tools on passenger side) and factory spare tire. I’m sitting almost perfect front driver and passenger at 23.5”, rear driver at 24” rear passenger 24.25”. My ride is much better in the rear end. I wish I went straight to option 3 when I put them in.

I’m at 24” with stage 2 with a topper on the bed. What other weight do you have that isn’t listed? That seems low for stage 3.

When I was back n forth on Stage 2 V 3, I was wondering if the stage 3 was more stiffness, and not actually lifting. Could this be the case? I am on stage 3, but with a topper and Decked, so my weight is considerably more before I even load gear.

Oh ya the decked systems aren't light are they? Just looked it up. 230 pounds for the long bed version. Ya OK I see the need for option 3 now. Anything else? Rock sliders? Besides the topper my rock sliders and next heaviest but weight is more evenly distributed between front and back so the rear doesn't take all the hit. Honestly think the sliders effect my front more than rear.

I am ordering cbi steel skid plates along with the icon leaf pack. My truck already has sliders, a sso winch bumper, and I take my camper shell on and off. I currently have the eibach 2.0 coilovers on the front and eibach pro sport shocks on the rear. I'm trying to decide if I should order a different rear shock while I'm ordering. I'm really happy with the front and I have plenty of space to raise the front after adding the weight. I was just wondering if changing the rear shocks is a good idea?

Plywood deck. I wouldn’t think it’s more than 100# the ice chest is probably 75#, oh I missed 50 more in random gear.
All in all the suspension is stiffer, If I sit on it is doesn’t move like it used too. I had an additional 150# of corn in the back and I wasn’t squatting

Yeah, I have sliders, but I agree, not sure how much of that is on the rear.

I’m going to order custom/specific Alcans this week. If anyone’s near 23430 I’ll sell my rxt leaf’s in about a month.

The lift comes as a result of the additional upward force applied by the leaf pack. I don't have Tacoma specs on hand, but I have the Tundra ones which configure the same, and could be used as a rough guide to answer your question. Tundra RXTs at Opt 1 have 30% less spring rate than stock. Opt 2 is 20% over Opt 1. Opt 3 is 40% over Opt 1. Option 1 gets you that initial lift over stock by being a longer leaf pack, and pushing back more just to get up in there.

The Eibach 2.0s have what you need in terms of travel so there is no "need" to swap shocks. That said, the more weight you add the quicker a shock is going to heat up when getting cycled. What were you considering jumping to, or did you have your eyes set on something anyway?

Thank you! I actually found an answer last night on a thread where someone from icon said the rxt pack I'd safe to run even on stock shocks. I was just afraid the pack would allow to much travel and I'd damage a shock. I was planning on ordering the leaf pack and possibly the rear shocks and brake lines if I needed from hotshot so I really appreciate you reaching out. I just ordered the CBI skids and decided for now I'm gonna install them and see how things go. I currently have the icon 3 leaf aal and when I put my camper shell on the truck sits pretty level. Then adding weight the rear is higher than the front. That's why I wanted the pack to begin with. So my plan now install the skids and see if that weight helps bring the front down some. If I end put putting the camper on and I'm unhappy with how it sits I'll definitely be reaching out to you.
