I am ditching my 2” block and install icon rxt leafs (stage 2). Currently have Eibach shocks. I figure they will be short. Any suggestions on replacement shocks ? What length should I look for ?

Once I retain another set of the included shims that I lost, i'll be movin up to stage/opt 2 from opt 1. I have the regular length 5160, not the extended. I'm just gonna run it once a move to opt 2., check the brake lines and droop/ length. Then probably say f it and have do a shock relocate and new extended 5160's if mine aren't long enough... right now with timberon** bump stops Ive almost got an inch between the bumps and frame when unloaded...

Anyone got an extra set of rxt shims for stage 2?

Leaf springs have squeaked since the 20's. 1920's that is.

Lots of threads on various fixes, most are inexpensive and simple to do.

Are you running the Eibach pro-truck sport shocks in the rear? If so, they should be suitable to handle the travel requirements of an RXT pack on Stage 2. They actually run long, and I could comfortably recommend them for a 2" lift.
As @Clearwater Bill It's a tale as old as time, and unfortunately pretty commonplace... I know it's not ideal to have to get in there, but we have a cheap fix that works well over here. Also I have heard that motorcycle chain lube works well.

Unless you want to increase your travel, there is no need to use shocks that have different extended and collapsed lengths. There is more than 2” of down travel at stock ride height. I am 1-2” above stock in the rear and I still have 5” of down travel.

    Hub to fender:

    Ride height RL: 23.5”
    Full droop: RL: 28.5”
