So I just purchased the ICON RXT leaf pack with the Wheelers U-bolt flip kit with Superbumps. Getting ready to install now. Question is, on the RXT pack, option 1,2,or 3. I’m currently running ICON 2.5VS coilover up front with 700# springs. ICON AAL in the rear on stock springs, for a supposed 1.5” lift in the rear. I want to get about another 1-1.5” lift in the rear, and up front. I can raise the front a bit more, but ICON doesn’t recommend over 1.13” of visible threads withe the 700’s. Is this fact? Have people pushed it further? And that setting in the rear leafs??

I’m running Stage 3 on my truck but have about 400lb in the bed constantly with camper shell, bedslide, Rotopax, hilift, Wilco Hitchgate tire carrier and rtt when camping. If you are running no weight either go with Stage 1 or 2. I am also running 700lb Spring with King 3.0 with very little preload. Now have an ARB SUMMIT bumper with 10k Warn winch. No sagging at all 711478C0-2324-4007-9C7F-44713531A720.jpg F1B6462D-90C0-4572-9385-95CFFD78741F.jpg 7F9809E8-A94E-4EDB-BD09-097734B243C7.jpg

Nice setup! Im thinking I'm gonna go stage 2, as I don't want to preload the Icons with the 700# springs too much. My goal is a flat end result, no rake.

I can’t speak for what to do with the leaf pack as I’m running OME Dakar’s. But I have icons with the 700lb springs and I wouldn’t suggest over preloading them past Icon’s suggestion if you use the truck off road and are going to flex it out. It’ll definitely effect the ride and you might bind up the coil and break it. Do you still have your sway bar installed?

Yes, Sway bar is still installed. My off-roading is limited to dirt fire roads, occasional intermediate trails, and mall crawling. But I for sure don't want to break anything. I know another member with the same setup that pushed it to 1.75" of threads showing and he said it was fine. I was thinking of pushing it to 1.5" of threads, but that's it.

It may be fine now, until he compresses the coilover enough to bind the coil at which point it will likely break the coil, if it doesn’t break it the first time, it will eventually break it the next times it happens. If you don’t care about losing suspension travel and are just looking for suspension height, do it will some kind of spacer on top of the coilover instead of risking ruining a coilover by over preloading it and breaking the coil. I broke a coil without over preloading it and got lucky it broke at the very end of the coil and didn’t do any damage to the shock body when it broke. If it had broken in the middle of the coil, I guarantee it would have ruined the coilover before I’d even known the coil broke

I'm running the ICON 2.5 coilovers extended travel with 650lb coils, and ICON RXT leaf pack at stage 3. I still have some rake in the back (which I prefer because it levels out when loaded with the rest of my camping gear. I also have a craftsman toolbox loaded with tools, and an UnderCover SwingCase loaded with gear in my bed at all times.

My truck is heavy(and will only get heavier)... between the sound deadening(100% interior coverage), triple subwoofer rear seat delete, 3 amplifier and pro audio (all Skar audio products), all the weight on my roof rack, steel steps, URD Supercharger up front. The pelican case on my roof rack is loaded with recovery gear (tow straps, shackles, crow bar, jumper cables, portable battery starter/charger, and a few other items.
