So I'm planning on going with a mid travel coilover and bypass shock set up. My dilemma is with how enticing the icon set up is via its price! I was hoping I can get some feed back on anybody running either setup, AIRDOG maybe you can chime in!! So far I'm leaning towards the icon package truly due to price, I would just need to purchase the S2 package and the 2 tube bypass shocks. If I go with TC's lowers the price will just sky rocket after the lowers and king bypasses. However I don't want to compromise strength and quality over pricing.

Thanks guys for your feed back!

I just installed the TC race lowers and burned in the TC secondary shock hoop. I am running King coilovers sand have King double bypasses ready bolt in once I burn in the tabs on the shock hoop.

Overall I am really impressed with the TC lowers. The lowers are really beefy and they also come with a reinforced bump stop pad. The uniball is a part of the lower and eliminates the uniball adapter on the LT kit lower.

BTW TC is revamping their entire line soon to make this switch and the prices are going up too. I would buy soon to beat the increase.

If you want to get the most out of your suspension, the stock lca's will be a big limiting factor. The lca's them self are flimsy, the lower ball joint is limiting your down travel, and the soft rubber bushings flex a ton. The urethane bushings on the TC arms will give you more precise steering. The TC arms are also fully serviceable by you. Not knocking the Icon setup, but the stock lowers are just not up to job. I just ordered TC lca's. Can't wait for them to get here. My stock ball joints and bushings are toast. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

Thanks guys for your input! These are some very valid points, I wonder why icon would go this route instead of building a LCA. They claim the oe LCA is stout and is plenty strong and can handle this type of duty.
