Im currently installing my icon stage 2. I got the front shocks removed and im about to install icon shocks. I see that each shock had a different SN. One has SN: 77074 and the other has SN: 76857. Are the different numbers for different sides?

No serial number for anything should match.

Part number wise, should be the same

    No. Just put them in

Serial numbers are not the same as part numbers.

Serial numbers are different for individual parts.

If it's anything like the shocks for 2nd gens, the spacers on the bottom bearing are not the same. Make sure the longer spacer is in the front. The shocks themselves are the same left and right.

Well the rear shocks are completely different. But my question is about the fromt shocks and if it matters which side it is.

They go on top of the shock tower.

Not talking about the rear shocks. The aluminum spacers for the bottom bearing - make sure the thicker spacer points toward the front. It's for sway bar clearance.

IMG_8397.jpg One side is in. You guys think thread lock is needed for the bolts for the lower shock mount?

It might..but just as someone said and also in the direction the spacer on the bottom shock mount is suppose to face forward and the plug for the hose is suppose to face outward making it side specific
