Question to those that own a ICON w/ remote reservoir and CDC valve.

Going to add a Demello aluminum bumper and 10k Smitybilt winch in the very near future and was wondering if I have to upgrade the springs to support the bumper and winch weight.

I believe my ICON shock came standard with 13" 650lb rated springs.

Right now I’m measuring at 1 7/8 inches (almost 2") from top to adjustment ring with no bumper and winch at this time. According to ICON rep 2.13 inches is the recommended max adjustment.

Anyone had to upgrade to heavier springs to support the weight of the bumper and winch? Granted the bumper Im getting is aluminum, a quarter of the weight of most steel bumper (take that into consideration)

    Thanks for any advice :)70908892_10158815216593332_5016853484872400896_o.jpg

    A few things
Lots have upgraded springs. Go with 14” 700# springs
