Just got my kit and am thinking about installation. Is it possible to adjust the front shocks after installation? If not, what's the best way to be sure the truck will sit level?

Did you get a spanner wrench with your coil overs? You will have to install and adjust on the vehicle by turning the top collar to adjust height

Jack the truck up first, maybe oil the theads a bit.

You'll need to use the spanner. There's also an Allen bolt that locks the collar. You'll need to loosen that.

Yes, I did get the spanner, but I was wondering if I will be able to adjust the height once they (and the new UCA's) are installed. Is there enough clearance to adjust with the UCA's in place?

its tough.. but yes you can. just jack up the truck, droop the suspension to realease as much tension as possible. loosen the allen bolt that tightens the collar, then get to crankin with the spanner..

i suggest finding an allen key that fits and cutting it down as well to get in those tricky spots while you are turning it.. as well as using WD40 on the threads.

Count the turns, and keep track of it. That's the easiest way to keep the truck level.

question... where do you measure and find out how much inch did u adjust? do you measure the thread above the collar?

I would measure the thread above the collar, but count and record turns. Height adjustments won't be 1:1 at the coil. I would plan on adjusting the threaded collar 1/2 the height that you want to gain to start. Tighten the collar down, lower the truck, drive to let it settle and re-measure.

Yeah. I installed them as they came from Toytec, then raised them both, drove a bit, then readjusted. Took 4 or 5 of these to get them perfect. It's not hard at all to adjust them once installed, just jack it up and keep twisting, and spray WD40 on the threads. I'd agree that 1:2 is a good ratio as well.

I ended up with 37.5" from ground to fender in the front, and 38" in the rear. Since I installed it the Deavers have settled and each corner measures 37.5" with a half tank of gas.

I'm running with nitro trail grappler 285/70/17 and my coilover are set to 1:2 it's still rubbed a little bit specially when it bottoms out.. Front still look lower than the back (stock look) but I add a leaf so I thought it's just normal. Would anyone suggest to adjust to 1.5 in the front? Would it solve the rubbing issue? By the way minor trimming already done.

I have my fronts set to very close to 3" but I don't have my tires yet. If you're at 1.5" and the front is still lower, I'd go up.
