Looking for pros and cons of these two setups, the Icon Stage 1 kit vs the Fox Factory 2.5 IFP 0-2" coil overs without piggy back reservoir. They are both priced about the same at $1500 for front and back. I don't plan on adding the block in the back with the Icon kit, and with the Fox I would just be installing the performance 2.0 shocks that are good for 0-1" of lift.

I should also add I will only be using either kit to level the truck and not going for the full 2" of lift they offer.

    Thanks

I don't think the Icon Stage 1 kit comes with a block. That was probably the sway bar relocation piece.

You'll probably get a bit more lift with the Icons if you want to go higher later on.

Icon kit does not include a block for the rear. Either one is good for up to 2.5" of lift. Fox rears are a 0-1" and the Icon rears are 0-1.5" of lift. The big difference between the two is going to be the valving. The Icon shocks will be set up with digressive valving so your everyday ride comfort on the street will be better with the Icon components.

Ah ok, it was the sway bar link piece then.

So the Icon kit will ride better? I'm mostly going to be street driving, but it will see plenty of trail use when I go camping.

    Getting there...
Just drive faster to get there :)

The whole digressive vs progressive valving thing is that digressive valving is stiffer with slower shaft speeds. As it speeds up, it'll soften up (to a point). Progressive is opposite; softer, then stiffer. I love my Icons.
