Well install not 100%...damn! It's ok because the installer is actually a buddy taking care of it for me. F'ing Dakars shipped without U-bolts as ordered. So coilovers are installed as well as wheels and tires mounted (front) and balanced. I also received my weathertech mats and Bora wheel spacers today although after putting one on I may forgo since I think it looks good without. I will make the final decision tomorrow. Things should be wrapped up tomorrow morning.
Thought I'd post a pick of how the wheels and tires look (not the best pic but you get the idea) and I'm really liking it. Truck looks high because its still on the lift.
On another note I will have 2 complete sets of 17" Sport wheels for sale once complete. No curb rash they are in great shape and no TPMS. I will post these in the proper section Friday but PM if interested I will let go cheap.

Where in NorCal are you? How much life is left on the wheels? Only asking cause I'm driving cross country in 2 months.

The wheels are excellent but the tires they're basically shot. If I wouldn't have done this I would've bought new tires before the first rain. I'm in Gilroy but most days I'm in the Bay Area for work. PM me I just want to get rid of them.

Ok just picked it up!! Here is a before and after. I had no trimming just mud flap removal. I didn't do the Bora spacers and installthe the weather tech mats. Feeling like I belong her now and cannot wait to go salmon & steelhead fishing up north to try it all out.

    Done for now...RIGHT

If its in your budget order tomorrow. What size wheels and tires are you planning? I went with 275/70/17 no trimming and I think it look very proportional.

I'm in the same boat. I am debating on the icon leaf kit (1.5") or dakars. Anticipating that I will get a steel bumper and truck cap in the near future. I also prefer the higher lift gained from dakars, but I can't decide.

Also did you have to extend the rear brakelines with the dakars? I'm planning to run 285s after this install also.

Are you guys getting extended or standard travel?

Where do you go fishing? I'm a steelheader myself but can't seem to find anyone into swinging flies with speyrods.

I went with the Dakars and will be getting a shell for winter fishing. I didn't increase brake lines and all is fine. Stock UCA's too and everything aligned great but I will do Icon UCA's soon to complete it all. Ride is a big improvement amd I couldn't be happier. I went 275/70/17 because I didn't want to trim and didn't need to and I think it looks good.

I fish the Trinity and Smith. I live in Gilroy so the Trinity is more convenient at 5 hours to the river vs 8 to the Smith but hell I will drive it. In fact even though its a bit early I am going for salmon on the Trinity this weekend. I don't fly fish but have been wanting too some of my buddies do. About 6 or 8 of us usually go 3 or 4 trips a year. Where are you in NorCal?
