ICON stage 2 help 295/75r16 33.4x 11.6r16

I have a 17 double cab short bed 4x4 trd off road. I am planning on buying the stage 2 icon kit with 700lbs coilovers and UCAs. The icon website recommends 33x11.50 with a wheel 8-8.5 and 4.75 back space.
I talked to discount tires and they said I could get KO2s in a 285/75r16 ( 32.8x11.2r16)and they said they could do 5 backspace. Would these work with the stage 2? Also looking at 295/75r16 (33.4x11.6r16). What is the best tire to run with no rub?

265/75/16 will be the most without trimming/or minor trimming depending on alignment. You need a wheel with 4.5 backspacing with 0 offset or a combination that measures close to that. You need to to look at more than just BS of the wheel. you could do a 255 tire that would be close to 33 and get away with it, but 285's will require a lot of trimming and cutting

 

I running 295 17 on a toytec boss kit. No issues other then power. 4.88s fixed that.
