    5160s come with a spacer that is installed between the axle and the brake line bracket to help the stock brake line reach. 5100s, if Wheeler's is right, is 22.94 extended length, 5160s are 24.06, so a tad over 1 inch longer at full extension. That spacer may be the difference between brakes and no brakes, lol.

    That's the extension. Can't find a pic of it installed, but it's not too hard to find.
