Seems like a great deal! If I didn’t find a good deal on a gently used OME set up I would have ordered the kit you posted. Seems like a great price for the shocks, leafs, and coilovers.

I am in the same situation and live in Vegas where Rogue Offroad is based. I called and talked to them yesterday. I am still split between going with Icon or go the budget friendly route with the 6112 kit. There are a tremendous amount of variables that come down to personal usage of the truck and preference. I use my truck for fire roads (do like to hit them at 40-50mph), some decently technical stuff but nothing I am going to trash the rig on.. carry a roof top tent with a loaded bed, and I commute with it and still want to retain some on road comfort. I also tow small trailers with jetskis and dirtbikes. Any one want to weigh in with their opinion? I am on a budget like all of you guys- I can make it work if I need to because truck > most things LOL. -G

I can see we all have the same issues well not issues but questions and seem with the 6112 I don’t have to buy an uca but maybe in the future I can upgrade

It depends on how hard you wheel them. Also, they're rebuildable at home with their kit. You cannot rebuild your bilsteins. You have to either throw them away or wait 4-6 months to get them rebuilt at one of their centers.

All high end shocks; King, Fox, Icon, ADS, etc will have need to be rebuilt at one point in time. At least you can reuse them compared to the bilsteins.

If you aren't really off roading why not stick to the 5100s? People do light off road with these all the time.

Unless Rogue has them in stock in their warehouse, everyone is out because Bilstein is back ordered right now

I'm going with the 2nd gen 6112s. Shawn at Rogue off-road tried both the 2nd gen and 3rd Gen 6112s and he preferred the softer ride of the 2nd gens. I will just go with those.

I know there are a million other threads on this but they are maybe a bit too thorough. I like your guys' mindsets on this and that's an awesome deal through Rogue. What are you all planning on doing for UCAs?

Not anything yet. I'm not shooting for the stars with lift. I want 2" at the most. I want a more capable system is all. I want more carrying capability. Going with medium weight springs in the rear and if I put a lot more weight in the back, I will do airbags to help.

Nice, good luck! Haven't decided yet if I want to go higher. 2" seems right and avoiding new UCAs would be good for the budget. Just looking for a little more clearance but not doing anything crazy. Will have quite a bit of weight in the rear most of the time though so will probably go with the HD spring pack. What size tire do you plan on running?

Looking at 265/75r16s General Grabber AT2s. Seem to be a good size. Not to extreme but looks like they will fit the wheel wells nicely with a small lift. I have the same thoughts with lift. I just want a little more clearance and capability.

Hah! I was planning on the exact same tires. Haven't seen them much on TW but they seem like a great tire. I haven't found that great of a price for them though. You found a good source? Keeping the stock wheel? I was thinking I'd keep stockers for now but may black them out with the vinyl stickers that I saw floating around on here.

For me, the best place is Amazon. Finding a good price on tires is hard in Alaska. I am getting E rated for 177ish each with prime. Stock wheels for now, may black them out. Wheels isn't going to be a necessity right now, mine are fine.

I had never thought of checking Amazon. Great stuff. Thanks for the input and good luck!

The 6112 set up is really nice. I have had them on for a few thousand miles now and they are very good on and off road. Headstrong has great customer service and free shipping.

BTW... General releases the new Grabber ATZ this week.
