Another good thing about bilstein is it doesn't take a master mechanic to fix them if something we're to go wrong plus parts are everywhere vs icon.

Common things like bushings where as the more expensive kits use polyurthane bushings.

    Just an example.

I think you mean ATX. Waiting to see sizing on these as well, really hoping for a LT265/75R16 in "C" load. They had said they'd announce sizing on March 1, just checked their company website and facebook page, nothing yet.

Did you get your kit from Rogue, it looks like 6112 are on backorder from Bilstein.

I am looking at them and HS. Bilstein 6112/5160 with Dakar Medium pack at Rogue is $1,624 and HS kit is $1,656 with springs pre-assembled.

Did you assemble springs or did you have someone do it? If so how much ballpark for spring install?

If you installed already, how do you like the ride?

    Thanks!

I can tell you that on road handling is pretty much the same for both. I like my icons off-road more than I did bilstein, so if 90% of your driving is on road, I’d save some coin and get the 6112 kit, or even the bilstein pro kit that’s on sale right now.

6112's are back ordered everywhere currently it seems. I guess that is more of a reason to go Icon (hahah)

That's the exact reason why I got my Icons lol. When the 3rd gen 6112s first came out they were back ordered everywhere and I ended up getting Icon stage 1 instead. So far zero complaints and happy that they're rebuildable.

I’m currently stuck in the waiting game too, considering other options at this point as well.

Nobody has any idea when they’ll have them ready, just wish I could get a time frame on how long before I make the decision to maybe go to icons or something comparable

    Not enough to list
I am going to be using 6112s from the 2nd gen. Talked with Shawn at Rogue and he tried both sets on his 3rd Gen and liked the way the 2nd gen behaves. He said the ride was also a little softer.
I have not gotten them yet. My stuff has to come on barge due to the shipping costs and living on a island..

Do you recommend the Medium if you don't carry a ton of weight? Other than the steel bumper? I think medium was 2" w/ no weight? So.... 1.5" with the steel rear bumper?
