I think so too, and I appreciate it. Just trying to get it dialed in perfect.

Troutman, about 30 miles north of Charlotte. I've ordered a spanner wrench, arrives tomorrow. I'll jack it up and at least get the front level with the rear.

Saw this in the instructions. Talked to the installer, despite prior claims, he did not adjust, and said they looked good out of the box.

    Problem solved gang.

    Just adjust it a bit.

Keep in mind that you will need to adjust the driver's side a tad bit more to comp for fuel tank/battery/your butt.

Yessir, I'll report back with how it goes.

I appreciate all the input. First time posting on a Forum, and it did not disappoint. Definitely beats the feedback I got on the Taco Nation facebook group :D

Should OP get the truck re-aligned after raising the front another inch or so?

You increase ride height as weight increases by going to a heavier rate spring, not simply screwing in more preload.

You're going to get better performance by leaving it adjusted lower and benefiting from the additional down travel. You have pretty small tires, so it's not like clearing things is the issue.

Well the entire reason for the lift would be to get bigger tires. Yes, right now I'm still on the stock tires.

I would at least get it checked, but most likely will need an alignment.

Do yourself a favor and spray the threads with a lubricant before you crank them up.

Move it up to 2 inches and see how you like the ride quality and height. I would stay away from getting close to the max of 2.13.

Not sure if this will help (2nd gen with stage 8.) The coilovers are at factory height for best up/down travel... raised the front 2". If you do adjust i've read the Icon spanner wrench is a piece of shit... better off using a screw driver (cut tip off) or punch with same diameter shaft as the adjustment holes. Your truck looks lifted... how are the cv angles? DSCN0714.jpg

I ordered a set of spanner wrenches and jacked the truck up. Spanner wrenches were useless, ended up just using a cut-off screwdriver. Hit them with WD40 and turned each collar 4 turns, which in theory gets me another quarter inch of lift. Would've gone more, but the collar holes were getting worn, and I didn't want to push it. In the end, the truck looks the same, but I feel accomplished LOL.

Yeah, thanks. Even after dousing them with WD40 it was still a rough turn.

I use that silver goop that gets everywhere. I've found that most of those spanners are junk/impossible to use when the shocks are installed. I assume you jacked the truck up when adjusting the collars?

Yeah, jacked it up. The passenger collar would barley move at first, but once I got it going it was fine.

Hub to fender is now 23" front and rear, so I essentially got a 2/1 level. Happy with that.
