i ordered my stage 7 kit for my Tacoma 3 weeks ago and it is still not scheduled to ship until July 27th. Has anyone else had long wait times for their new components. Just curious if this is the norm.

I ordered a Stage 5 kit a while back in May time frame (begining of the month), and recieved it mid June. To my understanding they are a little backed up with orders...primarily the shocks. They seem to have everything else stocked up. I think it took a total of 5 weeks to get my entire kit. So, you should be seeing yours soon.

I was also told 3 (maybe 4 weeks), but because of the heavy orders...took 5 weeks.

I was told 3-4 weeks but they were done in two (custom valving on the CO's)

UPS on the other hand took 21 days to deliver them :annoyed:

Dang that's what I was afraid of. So when I break a part, usually I kill shocks, it will take around 4 to 6 weeks to get it replaced. That sucks. I may just have to cancel my order an go back to TC and King. More expensive but they do have most parts on the shelves.

I ordered mine from DC shocks. Kurt told me 2.5 weeks before they are ready to ship. It is due to the shocks

I think Icon does rebuilds once a week and from what I've read gets them all done that day.
Edit: shipping usually takes 2 days to my house from SD...that was a UPS screwup taking 21 transit days.

Ordered my Stage 6 from 4wheelparts. Waited 3 months before I contacted Icon directly. Figured out that the order was stuck in limbo due to a error in the order process. Icon rushed out the system in about two weeks after. They sent the system out with coil-overs equipped with 650# spring instead of 700# that I had ordered. It has been close to a month now, I am still waiting for the replacement new 700# coilovers

I'm a little surprised an ICON rep hasn't chimed in yet.

Helpful for the conversation... Not that we are all excited about getting our products after spending 3.5k plus on suspension. Imagine putting that much money down, then they say hurry up and wait.

We do understand that ICON makes more than just Tacoma products however the shocks that seem to be the main thing holding up the order and these shocks can be used on multiple vehicle models. On my previous Tacoma I had TC uva's and king shocks. When I broke something I could have it ordered and back on my truck in 2 weeks not 5 or 6.
