I have been searching on the forum for a good detailed explanation of the differences between the Icon stage coilover lifts. Can someone please help?

Thanks, is there somewhere on the internet I can read about the different stages in greater detail? The ICON website didn't have anything explaining this (that I could find at least). Thanks @Rock Lobster. @icon_rep can you please advise?

@Rock Lobster Yes, I understand that the Staging naming convention is unique to ICON. I just cannot find where on the ICON website it explains the differences between stages.

I'd like to see a clear explanation as well. Why would I buy the Stage 6 instead of the Stage 4 or Stage 2? It'd be nice to see a Compare option on the Icon website, or a table that shows each new/different option at each stage.

    EDIT: My stab at this.

    Stage 1 - Shocks Front & Rear
    Stage 2 - Shocks Front w/ Reservoir & Rear + Leaf Springs
Stage 3 - Shocks Front w/ Reservoir & Rear + Leaf Springs + UCA (Tubular vs Billet)
Stage 4 - Shocks Front w/ Reservoir & Rear w/ Reservoir + Leaf Springs + UCA (Tubular vs Billet)

Stage 5 - Shocks Front w/ Reservoir & Rear w/ Reservoir + Leaf Springs + UCA (Tubular vs Billet) --- improved components?

Stage 6 - Shocks Front w/ Reservoir & Rear w/ Reservoir + Leaf Springs + UCA (Tubular vs Billet)--- MORE improved components?

Stage 7 - Shocks Front w/ Reservoir & Rear w/ Reservoir + Leaf Springs + UCA (Tubular vs Billet)--- MORE improved components?

Stage 6 is essentially Stage 5 but with the ability to adjust dampening
Stage 7 adds the ability to adjust rebound as well

I went with Stage 5 and regret not having the ability to adjust dampening. Should have gone with stage 6.

If you check on some vendor sites it has a better explanation of the detail differences of the stages. Like previously stated, as you move up you get UCAs, rear AAL, remote resi, and adjustable rebound/compression. Wheelers offroad has a good description of each stage on their website. Go to tacoma, suspension, Icon, Stages and they have all of them laid out for you with descriptions and what all is included.
