Okay i just now checked and rechecked again - and again.
I have exactly 1.25in threads showing on both coilovers.

And my left side is 22 3/4in from center of wheel to bottom of fender flare.
My right side is 23in from center of wheel to bottom of fender flare.

My mechanic told me the coilover instruction sheet said they were preset for 2in....while my memory was telling me 2.5in.
I never got around to calling Downsouth on Fri about all this to clear up any confusion on my part.

The TRAIL grapplers are NOT loud at all right now. They are a very tame hum at low speeds and on highway.
At low speeds (anywhere below 20/30mph), it feels like im riding on snow cables (same sensation, but instead with a rubber feel of course). Im not sure if ALL MT's feel that way or not, but the MTs on my friends tacoma did also.

On the highway (60-80mph), the front tires have my steering wheel dance slightly to the right and left, but not actually pulling to right or left. I find myself holding the wheel more consciously now. Im guessing its because of the wide contact patch on the fronts - nearly 12in wide on these 285s (285/65/18). I know that with supras riding on about 275s on FRONT, they get "bump-steer".....im thinking this is the effect im feeling on the truck with the wider footpring up front.

I love these tires so far! I slept on which tire to buy for 12months......I dont think i could have picked a better looking tire! Not to mention, Nitto says these have more AT characteristics than most other MTs :) Again, just a slight hum at worst with these :) And if they do get louder, i dont think it will be overly loud since they're sorta quiet now to begin with.

They do seem to be a littel stiff i was hoping the would soften a bit and if they dont i will just have to play around with the ajustment... I just took a measuerment and i got 1 and 3/4 of thread showing.. When we put them on the front just looked low so we raised them...
