this might be a dumb question but figured I would ask. I have Icon UCA's and Icon Coilovers, I noticed a clunking noise, its probably been there for a while, either way I jacked the truck up this weekend to see if I could figure out what the noise was. I found about 5mm's of play when push on the front drivers side wheel holding it at 9 and 3 and the play is coming from the Icon UCA. i tried tightening the UCA but the bolt has seized and I cant for the life of me get it to break free. so I am planning on either cutting it out and installing a new one or trying to break it free with an Impact gun. my question is, do I need to remove the spindle from the UCA to get that bolt out or can I leave it attached? I assume my bushings on the UCA might also be shot? any help would be great.

It would be much easier on you to remove the uca from the spindle and bungee the spindle out of the way.
