For those of you running Icon fronts left at the height they come, did you need new UCA's? The description on Wheeler's says "Easy bolt on installation and works great with your factory upper control arms." Is this legit or should I order some LR UCAs now and do it all at once?

If you're planning on getting UCA's I'd go for the extended travel and wait for the UCA's.

But to answer your question you will be fine with either one. The extended travel version will likely make contact(coil to control arm) with your stock UCA at full droop.

I'd like to dust this thread off if you wouldn't mind.
I just installed standard travel icon coilovers. Had it aligned. Left them at the two inch over stock setting they came with. Everything was cool for the first 5 days but today my stock uca bushings started squeaking horribly. The whole reason I bought the standard travel is because they were supposed to play nice with my stock ucas. I tried pressure washing, lube, even adjusting ride height.
Do I really have to go buy those pretty new uppers?
Is there a possibility the bushings are binding. Maybe loosening could help?
    Any advice would be appreciated

If you're sure it's the UCA bushings, have you tried to tighten them?

I'm not positive but I did try tightening them.
The nut would not move at all. I even locked two wrenches together for added leverage. Ive read that it could be the rubber where the piston goes into the shock. But I can feel it in the uca while my brother pushes down on the bumper. Definitely a rubber on metal sound. I'm going to try to grease that piston and see if that helps.

Just want to add that there is no squeaking when I rock the truck side to side. Only when I push straight down. Which got me thinking about the coilover seal.
