Ok, so I am in a difficult situation. I have a 2004 dbl cab prerunner. I am looking to re-lift the front of my truck becuase my front coils are shot. I already have 5100's all around with stock coils in front and AAL in the rear. I am either going to buy (with UCA's) the Eibach front coils (620lb) to fit on the billies, or buy Icon coilovers (non-resi). The thing is, I unfortunatley do not use my truck as much as I would like to, and I won't have the opportunity to until I move back to AZ in 3 years or so. So should I go with the Eibachs which are $160 or the icons which are $1,200? I won't get good use out of the Icons for quite a while, but the ride would be nice.
Here are the And the Eibachs

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
I'm sure the icons are nice but I'd say get the eibachs especially since you already have the bilsteins. I have eibachs on billies and I like the ride and stance they give.

The pro's I can think of for Icons
    -smoother ride
-easier to adjust the ride height
    -rebuild able
-bigger shock body if you get the 2.5"

    The pros for eibachs
-save money! $ to be spent on other mods

If you have the extra income and can afford to spend the $ then why not get the better of the 2 choices. But if your trying to save here and there then the eibachs will give what you want out of a lift

Rear diff breather mod, Billy 5100 shocks. eibach coils at 2.5" front lift, Icon progressive AAL 2" rear lift, hypertech 730117 speedo corrector, cmc
The ride with Eibach coils on 5100's is WAY better than stock suspension, and will also be better than the 5100's on the stock coils like you have now. The Eibach coils won't be compressed as tightly as the stockers have to be to achieve lift, so they'll actually be more compliant over rough stuff.

I'd recommend doing the Eibachs for now too. Three years from now you could look at upgrading to Icons or other higher performance coilovers if you need them.

Homebrew bumpers and sliders, 5100s & Eibachs up front and mutt leaf pack out back, 285s & Wheelers type B, sway bar deleted. Wife's ride: 01 4Runner 4wd sport. Stock with exception of TRD taco coils, and shift kit.
If I didn't have a replacement front bumper on my truck or didn't plan on getting one I think I'd run OME 880s or 881s. Eibachs are a solid 3" of lift with no room for adjusting the 5100s if it's to high.

I all most went with 5100's and decided on the Icons. The ride is great on road, and phenomenal off road. Worth the money.

Considering the 3yrs part, a lot can happen and change in that time. Save the money and go Eibachs now. If you wanted to upgrade later, you could probably sell the Eibach set up later on here fairly easy.
