Just came across this and I'm honored you would take advice from me. :) Here are the stainless ones that I made for a couple of friends a few years ago when I owned a shop. A shop I might add that I had hoped to someday build off-road stuff. :) Maybe another day. :)

EDDO, if you are ever in the area, let me know or ever wheeling in between us and think of inviting a stranger, let me know. I hear you are a good man. :)

Don't know what you heard, but my bail bondsman lies like a rug. :D

Last time I was down south was April with this bunch of kooks. Unless Mammoth counts, that was August.
Sure I'll head back eventually.

Has anyone tried these or similar? I have Icon too and don't feel like breaking my top hats and wrecking my coil bucket...

On top of th coil bucket? Interesting... wouldn't it work better directly on top of the shock?

IMO this is a great solution.
You don't have to worry about your coil bucket bending because it's on top of it.

I was smacking back those areas for a bypass hoop. As the hammer is swing back and forth I hear "Thump, thump, thump, pop!" And all I could think is "fuuuuck" since I knew what happened without looking, and yep looks exactly like what's in the photo. Big 2"+ crack right up through the sheet metal.

General consensus is trying to weld anything in will fail again and most don't bother, most are just keeping an eye on their wheel wells
