Okay I'm not sure what keeps going wrong. I installed icon 2.0 remote rezzie's about 2 weeks ago. And each week since then I have broken a hose clamp that holds the reservoir on to the frame. Anybody else have this issue and what am I doing wrong.

Did you try suspension forum for this question? Might be worth a try.

To me, it looks as if the nose of your resi is trying to move up/down/out and stressing the front clamp.

Loosen the bolt that holds the bracket the resi mounts to. Let the bracket/resi adjust itself and then retighten it.

    all tore up already
How hard you cranking those down? Dont see movement or stress since the top of the shock and res are both frame mounted. Just a cheap regular hose clamp? Id think they would be up to the task of holding up a res. Measure the outside diameter of the res and see if some bilstein aluminum brackets would work?

Maybe the clamps are routed thru the bracket in a way that they're rubbing against the frame of the truck or somehow getting pinched and wearing that way?

Just a thought... this is kinda weird though

Broke one more. What the fuck? Can someone with icons post a pic of how they have the remote resis mounted. This has to be operator error but I can not figure out any other way to mount these.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the hole for the bracket was drilled in the wrong place? I put the bracket on mine and drilled it where the reservoir pretty much was relaxed. Try to loosen the bracket with the reservoir clamped and see if it wants to move? mine and the instructions have the nose at an angle.

You could give the Icon clamp kit a try but cost wise its quite a bit more than replacing the broken clamps.

Maybe wrap both ends in some sort of rubber to dampen the vibration, could be a cause of breakage

You may be simply overtightening the clamps during install. These things have limits to how tight they can get before the "locking" mechanism snaps.

Get them snug enough so that the resi isn't moving, and leave em.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
do those brackets have a curved back where you pass the clamp thru and it curls smoothly around resi? No sharp edge against clamp?

Thanks. I did try and lossen the bolt so the bracket could move to its natural position and have broken 2 since then. I am up to 4 broken clamps at this point. I must be a retard. Or my 165# body is stronger than I realize and I am just over tightening these clamps with a flat bit screwdriver...ha!

Over tightening is possible. I think typically 60 in/lbs. you can get a t-handle ratcheting torque wrench from lowes or Home Depot that's preset for this. Lowes had the one I use for $6.

    AMERICAN VALVE Torque Wrench

    Item # 301693 Model # AV301693

Or a torque wrench set at 60in/lbs (5ftlbs).

I second checking the back of the bracket for a sharp edge.
