Icons....need help. Broke another clamp...and another

    Take a pic of the edges of the bands. Looks to be they are catching a edge and maybe when the cylinder heat up and expend applies more pressure on the clamps. Aluminum thermal expansion is twice vs steel. I would either grid down the back side where the strap goes around or apply some type of padding that will give before the band.

    Good idea. Thanks. After replacing 4 of them something has to be changed. I like the idea of padding. I'll have to see if I can find some thin rubber.
