In my case a Chevette. Thing was solid, have to say. Very little hp, but was RWD, so when it rained, I could have fun haha. Maybe why to this day I cannot/will not buy a FWD car.

I had a 72 El Camino SS 454 and sold it to a guy that had a 71 Sprint SP 454. The guy told me only about 25-30 SP 454 were made.

I actually want one. They look really cool with big tires

    They are pretty cool.

It wasn't their worst selling lol. A lot of people actually liked them. They were just really pricey at the time. It was a limited production run intentionally. Only about 6000 made and about 4000 of them are in the US.

Whats funny is I think 90% of their US population is located in Colorado. I see them driving around here daily and always different ones. There's even a one off color one not too far from here. lol

Story was that they built the concept and wanted to enter it into rally racing but I guess the rule was it had to be a car that was in production available to the public. So they made and sold just enough of them to be considered a production vehicle.

Only weird thing is they burn oil like crazy. I've read enthusiast forums and they say they have to toss in a quart of oil a month  I looked at one on a dealer lot near me once, was an Ironman version. There wasn't a lick of oil in it.
