    My mom just got back from toyota after a frame inspection and they found a hole. They will either replace the frame or buy the truck back. If they buy it back im going to try and swap axles with her. Lol this will be her second 1st gen being bought back

    i am but the rear is a lock right. i want ARB's in front and rear not just front. That just has to wait untill i do my SAS and then im still just gonna spool the rear at first just to try and get them under the truck faster. With the way im going to do my sas im gonna be $14,000 :eek: into it from transfercase (atles 4 speed) to tires, and the wife wants a boob job :D first ($6,00).

    I think they keep records on the buy backs, you get blacklisted eventually. IIRC there was a guy who joined here to rant about Toyota not taking back his third 1st gen after he had gone through the frame recall on 2 others within a year....either he was trying to scam Toyota for the 150% value or he was just really bad at picking out used vehicles.

    I hired a private tutor for one on one work. I don't think there are free private tutors.

    There's a list of things you have to qualify before they make a descision like for one you have to own the truck for 1 year. She's owned this truck for 2 years now. I dont think my mom is scamming Toyota :confused: Just got unlucky i guess :notsure: She never wanted to lose her first one, she loved that truck

    I don't even have a radio but it's on the list as is a arb compressor.

    does anyone in this group have frame rust?? mine had a little when i first got it but i cleaned and repainted it.
