    I should have posted in here a few weeks ago when I was off from work and more time to BS. Thanks for the compliments on the truck and all the encouragement to keep building, these trucks are a lot tougher than folks give them credit for but with that they still have limits.

    I trimmed 2" out of my fenders and flares to clear the 315/75r16's the 36's fit as well but contacted the flares. I added the 1" Bodylift to help with clocking my transfer case which added the needed clearance for the 36's. Even with all of that I still get some rubbing at full stuff.

    i think i'll just run 34s not as much trimming and still gain clearance.
    worst case scenario i pull the flares and get glass fenders

    me adam and ben were talking about it a day ago. me and adam are leaving the 15th, meeting either on the idaho utah border or where 84 and 15 meet, then getting into SLC around 6 or 7, then leaving in the morning to go the rest of the way down to moab. ben i believe is joining us in SLC the morning of the 16th and we are going to convoy with the rest of the NW crew i believe out of salt lake.

    question adam, are you leaving the 20th in the late afternoon and spending the night in slc again and driving the rest of the way back the 21st?

    ok. cool. ill give you a couple of shillings for a spot in the closet on the return drive also if thats cool. hopefully i can just take my week of paid vacation (that i should have accumulated) during the week of moab. that way it wont be a big deal if im taking a week off. get paid to go to moab? OK!

    ya i was thinking that too. he might go on a fun trail with us out of pity if we are lucky, but hes going to be spending his time on the 8-9 rated trails with all of the other nuts going to moab. sure would be cool to ride along tho!

    less chance of speeding tickets ( cops want drunks not sober speeders) you can see on coming traffic around corners ( at leas the light ) and there are far less people on the road

    edit: plus its so easy zoning out diving at night. everything just bluurs together, especially on long road trips
