Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Thanks for the soldering tips but not too worried about that part. Have done a lot of soldering in a past life. Back in the day, I used to do a LOT of 1/24th scale slotcar racing. Involved chassis building from piano wire. I might even still have my soldering stuff around here somewhere, out in a box in the garage.

Thanks for the help fellas. This is a project for next weekend. Can't start it right now. Tomorrow the truck gets dropped of in Cashmere.

No diagrams, unless they are in the booklet from Pioneer. I have not looked at that yet.

I did not. I bought from Amazon. I did consider Crutchfield but they were $100 higher. What would they have? Are they vehicle specific diagrams?

Its been great! Keeps the snow out of the truck and i like the matched look more and more everyday.

 

The pioneer booklet will have the pioneer harness diagram.

The other harness shoulda come wi a diagram. Either it's pretty much just matching the wires together.

Yeah, there is something on the package for the other harnesses. Unfortunately it is in 5 point font. I got my magnafying glass out and its in spanish.

Not a good sign.

Lol your paying for nothing. Harnesses are all the same. Wiring isn't that hard. It's all the same. You buy it at Walmart..match the wires with the headunit wires..done..

If you have amps..even easier. Just RCA cables and power wires.

A lot of times though, CF will include the dash kits with the headunits and speaker brackets with speakers. Sometimes that is worth the extra money, sometimes it isn't.
