I started building my ammo can bex box the otherday. Jsut gotta get some big washers and I can start drilling the holes in the box and the bedliner. Still trying to figure out exactly how I'm going to lock the ammo box

 

You could put Ben in the box

 

Also I am hoping I can get some custom build sliders welded on for 300 at a local fab shot. The guy said it was 300 to 350, so I'm hoping I can just walk in with 3 bills and give them the job.

Mine are going to be 350 welded on here locally at that price you just can't go wrong I was going to order some but after shipping I couldn't beat the local price

Tie the tool box down with d-rings and turn buckles

 

You could also use quarter turn body fasteners from a motorcycle
They are called dzus fasteners

 

Do you typically pay for jobs before or after if its a simple job like sliders

Are you going to make a recap thread of your trip? Where did you exactly go.

I am pretty much set on the gunmetal grey them. I like the look of they grey grill surround and bumper. Chrome can go die. I probably won't have all of the painting done by may, just wanted to have my colors picked out so I know what to paint the sliders, which I actually need to do.

 

I paid upfront but most places just require a deposit of 50%

 

My plan is to go through the bottom of the ammo box and bolt it to the bed liner

So if I walk in and pay for it all up front do yo think they would be more inclined to take an ammount on the lower end of their quote

i drove like 28 -30 hours striaght to sd to mt rushmore , then crazy horse, then some state pk in badlands area.....
then headed to big sky, mt....then from there went to schweitzer for like 4 days epic snow conditions........omg great snow.... great place.......
then to mt baker for 2, then to casino in wash for superbowl, snowmobiled in or around mt rainier......then hit crystal for 2 days.......
