yea lotta ppl thought it was hers lol

Pshh:eek:

No it was dumb. Short version till i get photos from Lisa.

basically went to climb the hill, went down a drop and noticed that a jeep was still stuck on the hill so i stopped. He started backing down the hill so i reversed to get out of his way. Back end slid into some deep powder, couldnt get enough grip so they hooked me up to a winch.

While winching I was riding on the clutch to much, so i got off it as i noticed it smelling bad, then my truck ;bogged down and died as i was getting winched so i started it back up quick. Basically all that, combined with 187k mile original clutch=burnt out clutch.

Had to get pulled by a jeep the whole way down and into town.

Got stuck in the snow and the clutch burned up. Couldn't get it into gear so Rich towed us back to the nearest city and the tow truck brought us the rest of the way home

Wow you must have really been riding that clutch for it to go that quickly.

no. I could start it in first if I immediately rev'd it up. Didnt attempt to drive it much tho. Everytime I did it would just slip in the snow so we just towed it back in neutral and called AAA.

Out Playing with the trucks
[IMG]

Aaanndd then Andy got stuck. This trail was all slushy warm snow and of course king derp some how manages to slide sideways to the edge of the trail and get stuck in a precarious spot. This is now twice in the same month he has gotten him self into shitty situations. Way to go bro!:D

We let his tires down to 18, chip away all of the ice and snow so we expose the dirt by his back tires, shovel a shit ton of dirt on top of the snow for traction, and fill in the ditch on the passenger side with dirt and branches and slowly back his truck out onto the center of the trail. Note to self...dirt on top of slush works REALLY well to keep it from sliding sideways, always bring a shovel or 2 haha, glad he threw one in there.

Not stuck, just decided this would be the funnest way down. Did in in reverse the whole way, hence the getting down part.

Dunno yet, was just about to start looking. heard of any good aftermarkets?

I was planning on attempting myself with some help of my friends, but after chatting with my dad and looking at my schedule this next week(3 exams) I think I may just actually pay for a shop to do it.

This is what im planning on getting when mine dies. 240k miles original with one resurface. Getting pretty close.

The Marlin kit will also help turn the bigger tires

Daryl and I are willing to help if we can. Daryl is a certified mechanic and
I am not bad either. Let us know if we can help. No doubt we can get some assistance from the Butte club too.
