883s are a 2nd gen coil. But they fit 1st gens and are a better option over the 882s

Eibachs give over 3'' on a Billy 5100s at 0 on a 1st gen even with a plate bumper.

2nd gens use the same coil but on their 5100s they have a .85 lift option and they recommend you set it at that with the eibachs for 3'' lift.

weird... I've never heard of anyone running 883's on a 2nd gen. I though 1st gens ran 881-883 and 2nd gens ran 884-886.

883s were originally designed for 2nd gen tacos and FJs. But more 1st gen people use them as they are kinda a weak coil for 2nd gens.

BTW..i passed Adam in this thread :anonymous: jesus..

    wonder where he is..

LT can still crawl! I'd just give up on SAS and 40's and stick to LT and 37's:D In fact that is the plan right now! haha I've been eyeing LT for a week or two now since I think SAS is a little extreme yet, especially since I just put all that money into gears and a front locker.

    What i have been saying!

Im still not sure i want 37s..probably just go 35s as bad ass CVs aren't super readily made for 1st gens..

and LT can crawl..but it has limitations if you go full LT out back i think..

No weight capacity(as much, i know there is some but look at my rig..haha), lose most if not all your bed due to cage, and not much up travel do to lower ride height..

and i hate the Bro lean haha

Hopefully mine doesn't end up like that with a Cantilever coil over/leaf hybrid setup..

PLUS you have the option of a 2+ kit up front instead of a full 3.5 over kit..that would be ideal i think for what i want to do with my truck..too bad..

2.5x8's. Icon coilovers and King triple bypass. You can actually valve the bypass shocks so firm that it will bend a 7/8" shaft in the "bump zone". Mine are actually valved pretty stiff but I open up all the valves and let the coilover do the majority of the work. Neither gets hot though, even after hundreds of miles of woops. I took them apart to rebuild them after a couple years of abuse and the oil was still good and everything looked new, no wear or anything so it's not like they are overworked.

They call that the $10,000 ride. Once you experience tuned LT you will mortgage your soul to own one.

Yeah I don't like the bro lean either... Maybe I can avoid that some... The defined kit is designed to run some weight. A lot of the LT guys have problems with not having enough weight in the back for those leafs. That kit was designed with the baja races in mind for sure.

I'm sure... haha I need to go visit you to do some gusseting work on every thing from my motor mounts to the knuckles and beyond before I bend/break something though... especially since you know what needs to be done and how to do it:D (if I haven't already. As far as I can tell everything is fine though. haha) Too bad we live so far apart haha.

My truck is actually a little stinkbug, no socal rake at all. I am using All-Pro Baja leaves spring under axle, and they are fairly firm and provide plenty of load capacity. I run dual spares hung off the ass end and they still don't sag at all, even after years of abuse. They flex well though-

These pics are from a few different runs that I did. I kept trying to get higher up the hill than I was but due to the bucking from little whoops at the start (you can't even see them in the pics they are so small) I would lose to much speed going up hill and would start sliding back down the hill...

This guy on one of his passes wheelied the entire length of the bowl!! Wheelied it up going up and held it for the full sweep and dropped it back down on his way down. The wheelie was bigger than this one too. He tried it a few more times but was having trouble getting the front end up.
