I'm going to side with Monte on this one.

The choice between 4.56s and 4.88s is tricky. Monte, you are correct for the 1st gen, 3.4L. Adam, you would be correct if you had a 4.0L.

The 4.0L has big torque and makes up for a bit for what the 3.4L lacks. The stock 3.73s are an indicator of this. However, you don't have the 4.0L. IMO, 4.88s with 34's would be a better choice with the 2.7L.

FWIW, my buddy is running 4.88's with 33's with the 3.4L (auto) and it is awesome. That is the direction I am leaning when I upgrade to 34s.

BTW: I really like this idea about using CO2 instead of a compressor. I amy have to join that expo site to learn more.

 

you have a point all things considered 4.88s won't cost any more than 4.56. and it would be nice to have the extra power.


Powertanks are cool and about the same prices as OBA i think it would be great for airing up and for a locker my only concern is that i would (like the ADHD child i am) forget to check the tank before i went out and end up stuck or locked because of my own stupidity. wouldn't be a bad idea to have an air tank as a back up JIC.

The CO2 thing i think is great. Don't have to worry about condensation either! And i think you really like the expo site. Its actually really nice and suits your type of wheeling very well.

Well thats what the back up paint ball canister would be for. Would have enough to make the lockers work for plenty of times to get you out of the hole and get home.

The first set to sell will go bye bye and I will keep the other set. So I bet I am on black since the bronze has brand new BFG A/T KO's on them.

But I agree, all black is very boring. But chrome is gay so I will go with the black and it just sucks that I found the best deal on a black truck.

woohoo! my checking account took a hit but i now have 5100s all around, a 2" AAL and a diff drop kit, along with the CB accessories i ordered the other day

I have no LEDs... well i do but they aren't installed yet nor will they be, I hacked up some lights off of my old ski trailer

I just saw some post about interior leds and saw you posted on it. I was going to say we could do it here because i have all the tools you would need to do it.

 

oh I'm thinking about getting some for my doors to light up the ground but i don't have any yet.
