Ben, I don't understand why you have been considering going away from BFG KM2s. Is it their lack of grip in icy conditions? Poor mpgs? Just curious.

I have to confess, when I first got mine, I was disappointed. But as I've put more miles on them (break-in? ), they've gotten better. I think siping them was the key. Once I siped them, they got a lot more grip in all situations that I was in this winter. Granted, probably not as severe as some of you have to deal with. But I don't see a downside to siping.
