    so would you guys recommend plasti derping my chrome bumper, grille surround and wheels the gun metal grey, r doing the tedious extra prep work to actually spray paint them


    i am glad this place does not have a time logged counter..i would have to shoot myself if i saw it

    preping chrome is a bitch you're better off acid dipping it then starting over even that self etching paint won't bond well to chrome

    would they match if i derped the chrome and painted the wheels? the derp is flat and i think the spray would be more glossy. also would the shades of grey be off even by a bit?

    i guess i dont really see a problem with painting everything, is there a write up on painting chrome grilles and bumpers? i couldnt find one

    could you get an unpainted grille that would only need light sanding and some primer? does plasti dip make a primer that i could spray on the bumper? that seems like the hardest part

    Meh, i have a small 1/2'' angle grinder and with a brillo pad on it it would be easy to get rid of chrome. Really just sanding it all off wouldn't be that hard.

    I bought my satoshi grille painted. Its was grey but was easy to sand off and re paint.
