Buy "us" i meant, Mark and Ian and me. Our year of truck the bulbs don't come out. You have to get aftermarket housings. For Adam its like really popular..and newer 1st gens.

so it looks like prepping the chrome for primer is not going to be that big of a challenge http://www.ehow.com/how_4895495_paint-chrome-bumpers.html then i can paint over it all with the same grey as the wheels. i know a little bit about auto body, but im not sure if the clear will make the grey all shiny and glossy. i know clear is important to protect the paint, but i dont want a really shiny paint.

also how do people usually paint sliders? just sand them and add coats of spray? when it gets chipped and scratched just spray more in that area?

I used a plastic primer for my rear chrome bumper (sanded it first) and I have zero chips or peeling well over a year later. Very impressed with how it has worked on chrome.

For my sliders I just sanded them down, primed, sanded, primed, you know the drill. I finished them with a bed liner spray and just touch up as needed.

HAHA ya I hit that starbucks up very often. Work really took its toll on my this past year and I had to go hermit style but now I am looking forward to some warm weather out here and some meets!

Left my old woman too for the better and have been enjoying the bachelor life once again.... after 10 years its quite refreshing.

Other than that I got soo many small projects to finish on my truck but without a garage at the place I am renting I am less than enthusiastic about standing out in the cold.

Anyone working on some project of their own? sry tldr

For anyone interested, I am still sitting on a few items like front 5100's with eibachs @ 0.85", built and ready to install, rear 5100's (currently installed but have my replacement shocks ready to swap), avid light bar, complete yakima roof racks with fairing, powder hounds and keys/cores to everything. I will also be selling my canopy for 6" bed once it warms up too. Pics are in my gallery and if interested just shoot a pm my way and we can meet up.
