I was thinking about doing that actually. I have a single man expo tent so I was thinking about making a platform for out and mounting it to a custom bed rack. I wouldn't even have to make a pull out cause it's but as wide as the truck.

Adam all those land crusier dudes never go on really hard trails, i still want to and all the trucks that still do with RTT have them mounted either a few inches below roof line, even or just a few inches above.

No i don't take that stuff, i take stuff on sound.

and im saying getting an actually AAL like a 3 leaf progressive pack would be better then adding just another stock leaf. You are at negative arch man..so a so called 1.5'' "lift" is going to be stock ride height for you lol

Ben, i would not be worried about your leafs. They look fine to me. I talked to Toyota mechanics and showed them my frowning leafs, they said its not bad until they start separating from each other. Mine have started separating so that is why i am concerned about over loading mine. Unless you plan on severly loading your truck up, i would worry about it until you get a lift. This is just my opinion though, take with a grain of salt.

If i were you, i would go to your local Toyota dealership and show them your leafs and explain that you want to load it up and see what their opinion is on frowning leafs. In fact go to several mech shops and see what they all say. It wont cost anything and you'll get professional advice.

Everyone on here talks about frowning leafs this frowning leafs that... but i have NEVER seen anyones leafs break or cause any problems.
