    Generally, changes to struts does not change the amount of travel. There are some exceptions tho. King, Fox, Icon, SAW/Camburg do make adjustable coilover extended travel shocks that add about a 1/2" to the overall travel. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use that extra when you are on stock control arms.

    A tad over stock. Which is actuall 8". Not the 6" Ben said. Mt is about 10 and LT is around 12-16

    The shock isn't really longer itself. The coils are a bit longer.

    Also 620lb coils..

    Yes e geometry gets changed in their setups with the LCAs and UCAs. But they also have longer shocks to go with them.

    Sorta right.

    Longer shocks do give more travel..

    The extended coil overs just have a 1/4" shaft spacer removed meriting about 1" more travel.

    And you only need new UCAs to use them.

    you failed pretty hard at quoting there..

    but the shock is too longer, thats how it can still work with the 3" of lift without over extending. the way it sounds is the shock is functioning the same as the stock shocks did, however it is 3" taller, so what is that 3" doing?

    No it's not. The body is the same. I do believe the shafts are a tad longer then stock. However.

    The eibachs themselves stretch the shafts out almost out all the way.

    So basically you down travel is almost already maxed out. You on have about 1-2" down travel but like 4" up travel or so

    gotcha... but since up travel is where the shock absorption happens performance (desert braaap) is increased yes? or am I backwards?

    You want lots of droop for jumping. So you shocks can starting absorbing as soon as possible.

    5100s are also valves pretty stiff for jumping. I can't air on lolo and it bounced up front pretty bad.

    5100s are not rebuildable or revalvable. That is what Icons, Kings and Foxes offer.

    I think you misread my post. Yes it is an S/C. I think gadget is thinking about calling it the mk4 kit. Superwerty said it is ridiculously more powerful than his trd setup and it was just running pump gas instead of meth injected. There were no temp issues with it like the trd blower either! He's pretty sure when he gets his engine built up to handle it he is.going to blow his.old times away!
    The problem with turbos is you kind of.have to.choose between instant power or big power. Not so much with the S/C if you get a big enough one.
    Yes pictars! I.am.going wheeling tomorrow too! Probably won't be many pics though since no Ben or Cameron to take them.

    If the shocks are truly longer you can get more travel but it all depends on the setup before. My setup with the coilover out had like 10" of travel maxing out the UBJ both up and down but my shocks only allow for about 8-9" of travel so they are limiting my downtravel.

    As for in the desert yes I would think you would want about 50/50 up and down or so. You'll want the up for absorbing bumps and the down for absorbing holes. Might be a better ratio tban 50/50 but basically you need both for optimal handling. You buck when you run out of up travel and you get some body roll and such when you run out of down that usually results in hitting the bumps right after when/if the terrain starts coming back up again like in whoops.
