    Yea won't run.

Ecu runs the auto tranny. If there is none it won't go.

And yes full harness  or I bet there is a way to splice up the two to make them work...either way a pain.

I've killed mine a couple of times:anonymous: if autos are geared low enough you can kill them to when going right from the gas to the brake too quickly while going up hill it seems. Pretty interesting actually. Haha

Uphill isn't an issue...downhill is a pain though. I'm in 1st gear, 4lo and still standing on the brake at times!

Yeah. If the engine is above the stall rpm and you bring it to a stop fast enough the torque converter isn't slipping so it is basically acting like an engaged clutch. And will kill the motor. Surprised me.the.first time i.did it... I've literally only done it two or three times and those are when.crawling over like a big rock or up a steep ledge.

Lisa I think there are 2 pictures on here showing that you can't drive :D

    :p

    Don't hurt me.....

I think I have killed my truck more coming off high revs then I have from trails or just shifting.

Mine runs away down hill (not any worse than a manual though really, we are.just gears higher so there is less hold back) but I have never.killed it going downhill. I think the momentum of the vehicle helps with that. Not sure why uphill helps kill the motor.

I could say the same for you

I meant that I know how to drive a manual...
Not talking about killing it...just when I go downhill I feel like the tranny can't keep me going slow enough.

Shelley wasn't the first time but I.don't think.I knew you could kill autos until that time though.

I.can.drive manual too. My DD is a manual.

Like I said autos typically run away because they are geared higher. If both trannies were.geared the same they would.hold back.the same. Mine holds back.well with my 4.88's. Although I.think.a.crawlbox is the only thing that holds back well enough for.actual crawling.
