That pretty much jumps you to 886's but I can't vouch for the winchless ride until you get the winch. Everyone told me mine will ride like shit with 886's and no bumper or winch but I thought it rode great (a little stiffer than the TRD coils set at .75, but not much) and still got compliments about how smooth it rode. haha

 

The 886's only ride rough if you try to preload them like a dummy

 

Hmmmm... Well I don't mind a mildly stiff ride until I get the winch as long as it won't damage the truck in anyway. Not sure how it all works so...

 

You and I have double cabs. She has an access cab so she is lighter up front.

Well 886's might be up your alley then. I doubt the ride is all that bad and it won't hurt the truck anymore than any other 3" lift will anyway. Which is just minor wear on your CV boots. Which you may want to check yours out anyway they might be a little rough if they are still the originals.

True, I'd like to make one though. I also help manage a photo site and I do our Facebook as Well, and with all the MOAB prep I have been sucking at it haha

I could say this is probably out landing a bit but I would get the front bumper first then lift.

You then know how much extra weight your adding and what springs you need instead of swapping out later. If you can afford it then go with a sway-a-way or icon coilover.

Why spend money twice on something your likely to replace with something better later? Just do it right the first time and do it the way you WANT it not the way that will just work.

She never mentioned a bumper, just a winch. haha Doesn't mean she doesn't want one she just never mentioned it. Just said she wants a lift. haha

 

Ok ok well I assumed winch = bumper too lol seemed logical lol

Yeah I know. There are lots of undercover winch mounts for 2nd gens now though so it could go either way.


Also check this out, may not be as noticeable to those of you without 2nd gens though.

Hmmmm yeah not so sure what all imma do to it! yeah bumper with winch and also yeah i want to do the exact that i want the first time through! Im just not sure what it'll be yet. Just lookin so i know my goal to head for. So open to all suggestions.
