    You got one? Is it as fast as we had hoped? I'm thinking about it. Sprint owes me an upgrade. My evo shift is almost 3 years old. It is beginning to show its age.

    BTW, I've been smelling stale campfire smoke all week. Have you smelled it? I'm wondering if its a message from the offroading gods or something? :eek:

    Question for you. Wife and her parents will be driving through yellowstone in the end of July. What would be the safest hotel to stay at that won't be busy? Probably just one night on the way in, do a day time tour of yellowstone and then drive to Butte for the next night?

    I'm trying to help them plan their drive in the next week.

    My recommendation would be to stay in Cody, WY, or one of the dude guest ranches between the East Gate and Cody. Expensive, but so will be Yellowstone too.

    My wife and I went at the end of July last year and it is nasty busy there... we couldn't find a hotel to stay in all the way around yellowstone. We ended up getting to stay at a hotel/cabin thing in yellowstone by pure luck. Haha

    Those gloves did do special duty, its no wonder they stink. :D

    I was wearing that rain slick to work this week. It wreaked. I did laundry yesterday, the clothes I wore camping wreaked and today, washing my truck, even it smelled like stale smoke. :eek:

    My back yard. The bad lands. 100s of square miles of open access BLM like that here


    Could either do east gate(cody) or south(Jackson). South would be way better for views as you'd see the Tetons too.

    But speed wise go through cody. Staying in cody would be easy. Wapiti might have some places too. And ere are dude ranches too.

    Lake hotel is by far the most bad ass and prestigious place to stay in yellow stone..but very expensive.

    Don't worry about unsafe stuff. Crime is really low here.
