    Ha, they are awesome. We got rained on pretty good last weekend so today I opened it up in the driveway to make sure everything is dry. We had one of our rare sunny days today so had to take advantage of it. Took the opportunity to take all the bedding out and wash it. I was amazed at how much dirt and little pebbles had already accumulated under the pad. :(

    Nice and clean again, just like new.

    I have that same Yaesu in my work truck and it's ok, but it's only 55W. I haven't used it for long range stuff, just talking to the tower at airports and listening to aircraft so they don't land on me when I cross the runways lol. Seems to be kind of a pain to use compared to the Icom, but maybe I'm just derp.
