So I am headed over to Standpoint ID on Saturday to drop some furniture at my sister's place. I will be leaving to come back to Seattle on Sunday or Monday and I am thinking to take a couple of extra days and use hwy 20. The scenery should be much better than I90 through central WA. Does anybody have advice on places to see or spots to camp? I am set up to sleep in the back of the truck right now so I don't necessarily need full campgrounds. Are there any parks or sights I shouldn't miss?

 

Most of it is pretty beautiful no matter what, I can't really remember any specific places though. :\

Thanks. I may try Priest Lake. Never been there. I know the area between Sandpoint and Spokane pretty well but hoping to get up in the mountains

k so konsta suggested it was the aftermarket seal that was bad. because the new one we used didnt have a dust guard so he thinks the moab sand is destroying the seal. Gotta go get a new oe one. any other bright ideas? put it in N and tested the play and it doesn't appear to have any play in or out or up/down or left/right.

 

Agreed! The lake is wonderful and beautiful. I work up there. I have been hikin upto some waterfalls and we also have the ancient cedars in the area. Tons to explore in the area. I've been wantin to get up to a natural water slide way back but haven't had the chance yet.

 

Well that mainly means your bearing is seated properly then. And yeah that would make sense on why it would leak

 

So we are approaching the end of Metal Masher and it is Konsta, Me, Rocky, then Mark. Mark decieds that he wants to get to the lead position so he passes each one of use. Apparently, according to Ian, he was laughing like a giddy school girl as he passed each one of us. So we get to the first little dip going to Widowmaker. All the "Moab Balls" that Mark seemed to have grown suddenly decided to wither and drop off leaving him with a huge case of "pussyitis". After a little (lot) of coaxing he finally decided to do this little dip but we had to pile onto his slider and well this should put it into perspective:

ok, in all reality though that pic makes it look flat. it certainly was not flat

 

For a taco yeah they have the wheelbase for it. It was a little weird in a 4runner honestly. Rocky has a soft passenger torsion bar so we piled on his out of necessity. Mine I has some on on for just a foot or so. The unload when the weight shifted felt really weird but definitely feel not comfortable about my truck now

 

that bitch rolls so bad to the passenger side. thought it was going to flop in the shell gas station
