    fuck that haha! there is nothing in the trail manners book that says i HAVE to hit everything locked. it's not my fault none of you guys can turn off your lockers. i tried shit open once. if on the first try i didnt make it i backed up, hit the button and walked up it. no big deal. if you guys are so impatient you cant hold on an extra 60 seconds every so often then im sorry.

    i know. but i would get up something and look back and rocky was hopping away and screeching his tires and would take just as long to get up some stuff as me when I was open. other stuff i might take an extra try or so. only had an issue in open maybe 5 times at most

    Don't you expo most of the time anyway??? I have had no problem with my locker. Streets fine and crawls great.

    So your telling me that with the combined mileage of my last two trucks of 55k on auto-locker is retarded??? Unnecessary stress maybe but that locker saved my ass a few times when I wouldn't have had time to engage one.

    he is saying running fully locked all the time on a selectable locker is retarded. an auto will disable itself. a selectable will not. and that is what breaks shit. someone last year ran all of hells locked and grenaded his rear end

    Thanks for the clarification am Hell's would definitely do that as what like 90% is on straight slick rock. rocky is spooled in the rear btw and ran all that shit. 8" diff on 4.88s.

    :rolleyes: the whole trail is playing, each "obstacle" is playing. thats what we are there for. Even if i tried something open and had to back up to lock it and try it again i still had to sit up there after the obstacle and wait for rocky to hop through it regardless. then we would get to the big main obstacles and all get out and help each other up them. All im saying is that the amount of time i spend actually not making an obstacle in open is completely negligible for the handful of times it actually happened

    it was just an example. but what he was saying is true...its selectable for a reason, even if it's not all slick rock

    Eh I give up. Have at it. Locker... No locker... Eh. I really don't give a shit. I run the locker I got cause I like beig locked. It wasnt that I could have got a selectable, I just like autos. Just seems like you guys bash them and then end up getting them in the end. Just saying it dot make sense to me.

    i dont give a shit either...just saying there is no need to get all pissy because i want to hit some parts of the trail open. it really does not matter in the end. I have heard multiple people saying they had scary run ins with the auto locker in the rain and the snow. forget that, that is why I didn't get it. I simply prefer the ability to use it when I need it and forget it when i don't.
