Don't use paracord. Be a bitch.

Get motorcycle ratchet straps. Two will be fine. Run one from the front driver corner (you should have attachment points mid way down the bed) to the passenger rear and the other passenger front to driver rear. Basically creating a large X over the tarp. Make sure the strap is totally strait and flat with no twists. Pull tight. Then rachet them down to snug it all up.

Way more reliable then knots and easy to get tight.

 

Yu still won't be able to get it as tightly sucked down as will ratchet straps.

Your tow rig has a tire gate and a front bumper? That's sick dude! Great choice of truck man. That's what I would get for mine as well. No doubt.

Tacoma has it's transmition out and its getting rebuilt ATM Upgrades..It's then gonna get ARB instaled into the rear diff and it's ready for moab again..

24Valve cummins yes sir.. Dana 60 front and rear axle. though the rear tire gate has to go cuz im changing my trailer into a goose neck and that gate will be in the way.. I actually dont like the front bumper and will be redoing it as well so those are for sale as of today.

Edit: Those tires are 35's.. I came into the shop and i sware i heard my taco crying..

Now to just get some radiator hoses for the external tranny cooler...

Still not sure what torched the aux terminal, went through the whole circuit and could find nothing wrong.....12 fuse should be here today i hope, then it's a long day of installing the block and re doing harness wires to cut down on the rat's nest next to the firewall

 

I just spent the last day going over half my wiring too haha time consuming.

 

I can finally start shortening wires as this is the final config for the block, I'm also labeling wires so i can track problems faster

 

I hacked out a lot of wires too.

I don't need to label as it's real obvious. Other then the exterior ones. And they are all colored. Nothing a continuity test can't tell in seconds.

 

i did the foot wells and under the door puddle lights in Blue LEDs to come on with the dome lights,, completed the ABS disable mod (what a god send!), i don't know how many feet of extra wire that truck has now, but i gotta think it's several hundred so now I have 8 additional circuits in the truck, i'm gainin ground on you monte
