My dad is a bit reluctant with this one, because he has participation in me riding a bike on the street which he thinks is going to get me hurt, due to stupid people, but i think hes warming up to it.

we sell a bike, spend extra money and get a newer WR450, which is a dual sport already rigged with lights, and I ride it around town and he gets it to ride in the mountains and when ever he goes camping. It will probably be more comfortable for him to ride anyway compared to the MX bike (same model as mine) that he currently has.

That is crazy. We had a crazy microburst come through earlier. Almost took out the flag pole out front. It was bending at like 20-25 deg
