    Miata's are easily the most annoying sounding cars at the track since most of them are N/A and straight piped. IMO they are not a "gay" car, they serve a great purpose and make it easy for people to enjoy a track day. They are a balanced car and perform well with some small mods. You really learn the importance of momentum and corner management in a miata. Flame away but i'd drive one if it meant id be back on the track! There's nothing like it...

    and the video a page or so back was a Ferrari F333 SP. He was broke most of the weekend, typical for an old ferrari thoguh.

    I didnt even pay attention to who said it lol, it was more or less at the general idea that miata's are dumb in the last page or so. Nothing towards you man :eek:

    And yes, this doesn't mean a track ready miata is cheap but it is one of the more affordable options out there. All in all going to the track is just damn expensive if you want to drive fast, pads and rotors alone scare ppl off...

    Yea corvettes are another one we saw lots of. They need better brakes so bad! A tuned vette hauls ass tho.

    @jberry Early apexes are bad news man lol. I've seen a few instructors wreck cuz they thought they could correct an early apex... just gotta stay committed once you initiate that turn in. Rumbles don't bite that bad if the track is kept up :D

    It's funny how everything goes out the window when you have a ride along or someone on your ass ha!

    It's actually exactly the same as a Landcruiser with some additional trim inside and a factory cushy suspension that has been swapped out. So other than some fancy trim and the L on the grill it's identical to a cruiser.

    Joe, haters gonna hate. Monte and others that are giving you crap are just butt hurt because it will outwheel 99% of the trucks on this forum. Ask me how I know. :)

    As for being top heavy, yeah they have a higher COG than a Tacoma but are very stable. They're on the heavy side. Only real drawback I ever feel with my Cruiser is it's size on tight trails. Otherwise it will outwheel my Tacoma all day long.

    Yes. It's gradual when you drop in with the left hand turn part, but towards the bottom as you make the right it's steep. And it's an on camber turn so with all the down force you get from gravity, it's actually difficult spin out.

    Really? I remember hearing it was cambered, which i would hope so on something like that haha. Still a surprisingly steep angle. I would have thought it would still be easy to spin out on it though. Surely one wild ride, with a grin from ear to ear.
