    I figured this was the case. Since that brake has the advantage of the diff gears, I think it would be a pain in the ass to tune it to work right with the wheel brakes. If not tuned right your tcase and drive shaft could be what's stopping your (assuming your in 4wd) before the wheel brakes even engage much. If your a bit on the heavy side that might spell disaster for your drive shafts, axles, or tcase.

    I always thought the diff brakes might be iffy too because it is putting all the stopping weight of the vehicle on the diff and axles. Probably why you only really see them on 2.5 tons and up I guess. haha Could you imagine breaking an axle or your ring and pinion just from locking up your brakes. haha. That would suck.

    Ive said it befor ill say it again.. So performance is like this:
    rocks. poor
    Sand. well
    Mud. very poor
    snow. very poor
    road. Road noise after break in is there and they wear really fast = Poor.
    wet conditions. poor
    ice. might as well be on slicks..

    So over all the MTZ is the biggest wast of money ive ever. thus far my MTR's are spanking them on every terain ive been on..

    not gonna lie never wheeled in powder that light.. we dont get cold enough here.

    Not that I am getting new tires anytime soon but I've contemplated trying those instead of MTR's. Problem is that tire is a lot heavier so it might be too harsh on CV's in a 37 and it's bias ply so it will ride like shit and they aren't street legal (not that that will be an issue in Idaho).

    tire mass should only be an issue when accelerating and breaking in which case your CV will only notice that when you are in 4wd and racing someone..

    Yea. But if it's from a 2nd gen 4runner won't work. Needs to be from a 3rd gen 4runner. 95 was the earliest years of the 3rd gen but double check if it's a 95, as there are still some 2nd gen 95s
