    Oh yeah! So I ordered my Army plates for my Taco today. Hopefully I'll have them in less than a month. I went with RKDMG.

    i do know however the 2010 up 4 runners and fj's have some extra ribbing vs my diff, found out the hard way when one of the locals shattered his gears and needed something to limp home, so i drove out in the middle of the night pulled his third, started to put mine and no bueno

    Yeah, but you had a sport. I assume only the Offroads with the factory e-locker bumped up to the 8.2 and the non e-lockers stayed with the 8.4.

    The Taco thing might just be an error and it is just on the newer T4R's and FJC's.

    just newer, was pissed, he was covered under warranty anyways but he wanted to get it to our local dealer

    Well it sounds like both the e-locker and non e-locker went to the 8.2". I was just referring to the Tacoma in my previous post.

    wouldnt I have had a 8.2 in my 2011 than.... seems odd, considering I used an 8.4 kit lol

    (Check housing for all 2010 and newer Toyotas: 3rd member mounting nuts are 14mm wrench size on newer 8.2, 12mm wrench size on older 8 inch Elocker version)

    I know LC diffs are different. But didn't think tacomas had changed.

    Like Logan (that is your name right? haha) posted it does say to check the bolts, so I was going to add earlier that maybe they changed in the middle of a year or something. As far as I have heard on here though, nothing major has changed on the newer Tacomas internally. All just new body parts basically.

    All I had know was all cosmetic..ATRAC..interior. That's it far as I know.

    ATRAC? Did they add ATRAC to all models finally?

    I know under the hood they put a smog pump like thing for emissions, but they started that in 12 or 13.
