youve said this twice now and im gonna agree with you again.. what i was saying about 4.88 gears being stronger is also still true. this all started cuz he wants my 35's but im going to sell all my shit together when i sas. some two wheel dive guy out there is gonna love me when he gets to convert striat to 35's and lockers with the right gears and lots of spare parts.

 

3UZ would be sweet i almost bought a 4runner just for that motor but i like a truck so much more.

1uzes are just cheaper to find. But really..they are about the same power as your V6.

They are cool motors to boost though. Some supra guys did that.

3uz is a better motor. Plus same intake as the 2uz so a TRD SC will bolt up. And there is lots of aftermarket choices for SCs.

Ill probably end up 2jz though.

im better at this bike thing than I thought

Caliper and MC went all back together perfectly first time and after figuring out how to bleed them they work perfectly and provide good braking! Really impressed haha! All i had was an exploded diagram and a couple shitty pics. Figured it all by just fiddling with it.






On another shitty note, the MC resivior is leaking and there is some fluid seaping out of where it sits on the base, so my guess is the plastic resi is deformed or cracked somewhere or the o ring didnt sit right. I dumped out the fluid and put some silicone sealer around the gap to hopefully stop the leak. shall see how it works. if not I might need either a new plastic resi or to fix the oring, which doesent make sense because the o ring is new. Oh well, ill see if its still leaking tomorrow.

 

Im sure you can find a new resi for cheap on some forum somewhere.
