I probably won't go to a full bed cage until I cage the whole vehicle. For now I am going for something simple like this

I'll have to think about the rear leaf hangers because if I modify the frame like Logan did I'll have to redesign the rear bumper... Axle mounts and shock mounts shouldn't be too bad.

I would cut the back of the frame off and widen it out to full width to get rid of the dove tail. I'd have to move the mounting points on the bumper out as well to flip them around maybe to make it work.

See how it bolts to the frame? Shortening the side braces would be easy, but the rear mounting would be a bit harder, especially since the receiver is tied into it...

Yeah. I'll have to widen both of mine out, but Ben said if I get them to him he could do that pretty easily.

I could always just pick up the DMZ SUA kit I guess instead of the 50T leafs, and it would be a much simpler install since I would have all the custom work.

That's a custom one off from Ben! I can't sell it! Besides it's tough as shit and works great. You'd be surprised how much abuse I have put that thing through already! haha Hell somebody even hit it over the weekend.

I have a cousin that goes up a lot. Almost went once but the trip fell through. I'd like to get my rear end done before I head up that way. Since like I said it sucks...

I don't see much trouble with "half-assing" it this time around since I won't be able to fully use all that travel until the front is LT and it isn't getting LT for several years I'm sure...

For now, it works great for me and I probably won't have to modify it for quite some time.

I wonder if the Armortech shackle flip kit would work with some 13" Engage shackles. haha If they did that would make the 50T's a lot easier to install.
Yeah, Lake Channel isn;t nearly that big, but it is plenty big for what my rig is capable of at the moment. Plus there is a lot of rock crawling right there in the dunes as well. And it's a lot closer to me.
